ABOUT DAISY MAIDS MILTON.

After many years in the Human Resources / Labour Relations / Administrative fields, Colleen decided to pursue a career in gardening, which was always a dream of hers. She earned her certificate in horticulture in 2002.

While studying for her certificate through the University of Guelph in 2001/2002, Colleen happened to read a newspaper article about Gill Young, and the wonderful things she was doing with her Daisy Maids business in Oakville. Colleen contacted Gill to discuss the possibility of working for her as a Daisy Maid.

Colleen and Gill met and spent a few hours together one day getting their hands dirty. This was the start of a wonderful collaboration between two women of like minds.

The following year Gill asked Colleen if she would be interested in developing business in the Milton area. The answer was a resounding YES!! In 2002, Colleen developed Daisy Maids – Milton, a franchise of Daisy Maids in Oakville. Since then, the business has grown by leaps and bounds.

Gill Young retired in 2006, and Daisy Maids - Milton is no longer a franchise of Daisy Maids - Oakville. We operate as a separate entity, while maintaining the same principles and ideals we have always subscribed to.

Colleen’s personal mandate is: "To continue to strive to maintain the excellent customer service her clients deserve and enjoy."

All of the Daisy Maids who now work beside Colleen in the garden are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and truly enjoy what they do!!!
